Hello to everybody!

My name is Carles and I'm from Girona, a little town near Barcelona (Catalonia, Spain).

First of all, sorry for my English. I understant your launguage but my expression is... awful.

I want to join this forum because -of course- I like Stars!

Playing with a computer is boring and I want to play with another sentient creatures. In Spain, it was a little comunity of Stars!: http://elistas.egrupos.net/lista/stars I played with other fellows players, but now there is not any game working.

My level is "intermediate to advanced" and my wish is join a game in this comunity soon.

Finally, my hobby is... science fiction: literature, movies, comic books, etc.

Hello Carles,

welcome to the forum! Never mind your English, there are players here from all over the world! Smile

Although there aren't as many games starting as in the golden age there is still activity here. Though looking at the New Games forum there seem to be none with open positions at the moment. I guess you'll have to wait a while for other games to end and free up time for some players. Or host one yourself.
Maybe have a look at the Duel Club to keep you busy. Smile

Great part of the world! IMO the Costa Brava is easily the best of the Spanish resort coasts, Barca is a great city & Salvador Dali, my favourite painter, was born just north of Girona in Figueres.

When I visited the Salvador Dali Gallery in Figueres a while back my car was broken into but I guess that can happen anyway. I also had the best Paela ever in Figueres.

AlexTheGreat: Yes, the Costa Brava have a lot of problems but still it is a great site (I will enjoy this week end in a small town called Port de la Selva, near to Figueres).

Perhaps you should tell them to come over here. There's "scenario-like" games with special rules being hosted from time to time, in addition to the regular games, Team games and lots of Duels. Dueling

Whatever your skills at speaking English are, you write it pretty well, though my ease at understanding your English might be partly due to my understanding other languages. Danish and English use the same sentence structure, while Romanic and Slavic languages use different sentence structures.
