Lightbulbs and "show last message in topic"

Hi, I've another question about the forum: it seems that when you read the last message of a thread (using tree view) of which some posts are still "unread" than they turn all "read" ... Confused

This can happen for example when you use the arrow that brings you to the last message in a topic, and than you see there are other new message in front of it ... Uh Oh

Now all message will appear to be read when you return again after clicking on another message (of course you can get around this by using the back button in your brower.)

Any way that the forum software can be set to prevent this?

Not that I know of. I use flat-threaded mode, and when I click on that arrow it takes me to the first unread message in that topic.

There are a few bugs in tree mode in this version of the software, which are fixed in a later version. I'll upgrade eventually, but it will be a bit of work to incorporate all the changes I made into the newer version. (which is why I havn't done it yet.)
