Game name:
Iron Legions

� Up to 16 players
Medium Sparse uni
+ ABB Start, Galaxy Clumping
Public scores at 2470

Game will run on AutoHost (jrc3/4).

� Intermediate level minimum. Experienced players preferred.
Host (me) will be playing.

� Races should have a points handicap thusly:

AR: 50
SS/PP: 100
WM/HE: 125
SD/IS: 150
IT/JoaT: 175
CA: 200

� The first gen will be for 7 years, to help speed things along.

� Victory Conditions:
Top scoring race or alliance of two races at 2500, or earlier/later by vote.

� Banned Stuff:
Any of the acknowledged cheats, or excessive abuse of split-fleet dodge, or harrassing other players and such.
Chaff is allowed, as always.

Edit: Weekday gens at 23:59 gmt unless players demand otherwise.

I appreciate the interest.

It might be a better idea to join a beginner game then, through training you can become experienced and fearsome like me. Twisted Evil

Race files will need to be checked by a third party to verify that they follow the handicap rules. When I find said third party (someone I trust) I'll post a spam-blocked e-mail addy here for you to send the racefile and password to.

Is this game still active?

If so, I would be interested in playing.

One suggestion, could we possibly lower the points left over by 50? This would keep things even and allow all to use those 50 points somewhere rather that throwing them away.

Yes, it's still active - you'd be the third to join Razz

And I suppose that's doable -shrug- it won't make that much difference either way, except flattening out the growth curves a bit.

Maybe because of that 7 turns gen?
Maybe do it with 1+3+3+3 turn gens for first 10 years instead of 7+1+1+1? No much to do there but some scouting still needed etc.

I have an idea, perhaps it was that bashing you gave that guy, even if the guy hasnt played in all that many games he could still be intermediate, I wouldnt mind playing but since you want "experianced" people, I guess Im not welcome here along with about half the people here. just my my 2 cents

Thta depends on who you consider to be "intermediate" - most of the ones that claim to be are beginners.

But yeah, the game is pretty much cancelled. I don't have time to host right now anyway.
