 I am 2nd and being attacked by 1st place. We both have allies (including one that technically we share - see game thread).

I was 1st but for the past month or so have been stupidly busy in real life. This coupled with the fact that the No1 player is Micha and he is playing very well is why I have fallen to 2nd.

The race is in with a chance - decent territory and tech (although less territory than it did have). Sadly real life continues to be busy and I have nowhere near the time it would take to offer a decent fight.

If I just drop that will probably end the game as the only other players who might stop Micha will just have lost a big ally and Micha will eat my space.

Its a very interesting game for those that have the time to put in - sadly with the time I have to put in it could be a shortish game.

 Definately need a replacement player (between full time work, part time teaching AND a teacher training course to do, I just cant spare the time to do hours of stars! plotting).

I can continue to host DiawarII - this should only take a small amount of time.

 Really need a replacement - this was a strong race in a very good position (was 1st by a fair way).
Recent neglect due to me being so busy has changed this a bit - but there is still plenty fight in it yet.

Any takers? I worry that if I cant get a replacement the whole game might go down in flames fairly quickly.

I am in. I am not sure that I can stop the flow of blood, and keep the alliance alive, but it is worth a shot.

I will need the weekend to do my first turn and get some basic communication done with my allies.
