 This question is a bit late, but I am unclear about whether the teams can communicate with each other. The rules specify that no intel sharing except within the team.

An example communication between teams is let us gang up on team X because it has an AR or it is growing too big. Is this intel sharing?

 Hi ,

would say all communication of the Teams is not allowed . So no Planetor Information sharing , NAP , Alliances and so on .
The are all your Enemie not your Friends .

There should be no talk outside your alliance about anything game related. This includes NAPs between alliances, map/tech sharing, offence courdination, ect.

This game is based on preselected teams so there should not be any reason to look to increase your teams size in any way.

 What is the deadline again?

For various reasons out of our control we barely even began to decide which race we'll be playing... Even less begin to desing the race files themselves.

 We could probably get something together for tomorow if we manage to contact Camel... But as of this moment we don't even have a single race file done.

If it was a normal one player game I'd paste something up real quick... But it's not as easy to do when you're in a team...

Edit: Me and Micha managed to get online together and chat on MSN, even though we have such a big time difference... But even Micha didn't talk with Camel reliably, and their time difference is only 2 I think.

When I get online it's usually the time Micha decide it's time to get to bed... Sad

Well since a group of slapped together races could cause alot of headaches for you guys in game (and unbalance the game if you guys drop from it) take until Monday Feb 2 so you can get together over the weekend, and hashout/test at lest some resemblance of balanced team races.

Personally I would not like your team doing in half baked since when we beat you it won't be so satisfying Rolling Eyes

Does Camel have MSN?

Our team is far flung too. We held a Sat Evening/Sun lunch conference.

 I don't believe he have. And I remembered why I hate ICQ so much when I installed ver 6.5... It was a very good communication program before they decided it was a wise move to force down our throats a thousand of completely meaningless and useless functions...

With a little luck I'll be able to use it with Trillian instead.

no races done after all this time because of Camel.. just think if he cant get online to make race with you after all this time just think of how it will be like doing all his turns for him due to inactivity.
Create race for him or in my opinion find a replacement teammate. Shocked

Micha is very experienced, perhaps he can design the team races and put it up for testing to save you guys time.

That's what I did last night between midnight and 1 AM. Wink But I think we'll skip most part of the testing phase. Smile

 Yes, and on my side I had some heavy family problems I needed to take care of. Even today I might not be able to log on until 23:00, meaning I have no chance to catch Micha online again... I'll be ready to go to sleep when he'll most probably be at work or in transit to get there.

 Me and Micha are making good progress. We talk rather often.

Still no word from Camel. I stayed up all night in the hope to catch either Mika or Camel but no dice. Finnaly caught Mika online in the morning...
