Is putting Multi-contained Munitions in the wings of a BB a good idea?

A range 3 beamer BB? What is the purpose of the ship?

I've never used MCM so I can't answer the question rationally ... but I'd be tempted to put MCM on a CC hull as a dedicated gatable bomber with some vague hunting/sweeping capability. A couple of OTs makes it quick to escape and chaff gives it some safety when needed.

I meant to improve accuracy for a pocket missile/torp BB. That way you could almost get away with only 1 comp, hence 6 jammers -> superior to equiv tech BBs.
