My e-mail is ok666(AT)tut(DOT)by.

Well, if i understood well, we have *dead* conditions like that:
- Player have less then 5 planets after year 2460.
- Player's HW is destroyed.

Player can continue to play, but he can't get points any more.
Killing "dead" player (after the "resurrection") will not affects GPs of another players.

What about races allied to a dead race? I assume they can also not get the point back that they lost because they failed to save their ally.

Exactly. Allies can't get GPs back that they lost, and Enemies can't loose GPs that they got, except for loosing another ally or death.

P.S. I've got game files, thank you.

Thanks for the clarification, Chaosknight. But it still begs the question: if I feel I've beaten my opponent to a pulp and he/she _should_ have less than 5 worlds, how then do I go about verifing this?

Do we have to call the host/referee whenever we feel we've beaten someone?

Honestly, this could be solved quickly by using Public Player Scores. I kind of missed out on that discussion - it's been a very busy campaign season. I see we had several people vote against it, but can we re-cast votes before the game goes live?

The game is already live. Just waiting to get it on AH.

PPS says nothing, it can be 5 -15% worlds with 2000 pop. I wouldn't count those planets! Wink

Well.. I'll try check almost every turn and post the "GP Public Player Score" on the game page (i believe - it's possible). I'll count all players GP score and i will public the "dead" status, if necessary.
Besides, every player can send me an e-mail with this sacral question, if i'll forget to check the game situation sometimes. Smile

BTW, the "allies/enemies" map for every player will be placed on the game page. The player positions are not exactly corresponding the picture in my first post, so "teams" will be slightly changed.

The HWs form a rough octagon but it was not really possible to make a perfect one because planet IDs cannot be changed. That means that if, for example, the HWs at opposite N/S points of the hexagon were planet #s 150 & 170 then the only way that they could be EXACTLY opposite would be if planets 150 & 170 were opposite & planets 151-169 formed a straight line between them. The relationships shown in the picture will be same won't they?

BTW, all HWs are 300-460ly apart & I also changed the position of almost 100 planets so that each quadrant of the universe contains exactly 72 planets.

Quite frankly, I doubt it'll make much difference that the HWs aren't in an exact octagon. So long as they're in roughly the right place, we can send scouts there to figure out what planet we need to pwnzor. Besides, a little bit of ambiguity never hurt anyone's strategies, right?
