Is there any Stars! player software with open sources? Especially for game info managment and battle simulations.

Nothing open source that I know of. Here is a good list of utilities regarding info sharing:

As for "open source", you can always add more functionality into "S.B.Posey's spreadsheet" which has been changed and improved by many players out there.

For battle simulations there is the battlesim.zip and Wumpus online hack for that which allows editing techlevels etc, though that seems offline ATM: http://wumpus.mine.nu/stars/battlesim_tech.php

Stars! Autohost Client is open source and has the beginings of fleet/planet analysis in it(where it can't be seen yet caz its not finished)

He should be able to produce some source code if he is not a liar.
