Changing serial number

Does anyone know how to change or remove the serial number?

As best I know delete the Stars.ini file in the windows folder and next time you open stars it will ask you for your serial number. Then just input the new one.

That's what I thought. However, there is no stars.ini in my windows folder. I also couldn't find it by running a search. Does anyone know where it is stored on Vista?
