So i read all of this one article on OBRM vs no OBRM

it seemed to indicate that people don't tend to use remote mining except if they are AR because it's better to just improve mining rates unless you are looking for minerals late late game. Like a game in a huge universe or something. Something about remote mining only being feasible around 2460 or so, and that even then you should be focusing mineral output on ships instead of wasting turns in buildup that may come too late and is too vulnerable to attack.

So is this correct? and does no one use ARM except AR?
