Fleet number from battleboard

Anyone knows if there is a way to find out enemy fleet numbers from the battleboard (the fleets were destroyed in the battle)?

Yeah.... But that's not exactly a fair way to gather intel. Interesting in mere principle, but not something you'd be falling over yourself to actually do in a game.
