well

been ober 7 years since i played this wonderful game that i still hold close to my heart

am runnin 2.70

and need updates and patches i guess

help would be appreciated

ps if its already on the forum elsewhere i admit i aint had a good look around

Some people tell me STARS26JRC4.ZIP is possibly more reliable, although I thought the only differences in JRC4 were in the hosting part, so if you want to keep your sound, you'll want to stick with the retail version (2.7 series)

Took me a while to dig this out of the forum's depths so I'm bumping it as my first ever post here Smile

The patch links on the wiki ( http://wiki.starsautohost.org/wiki/ )are all broken for now; but the ones linked above at the autohost still work.

I'll have a go at redirecting the wiki links once I can get my head round how to edit them, unless some wiki-savvy person happens to beat me to it (HINT).

Coincidentally, someone emailed me to ask about the cd manual and we thus discovered this file issue. I've updated the interwiki tables for the inter-language and files links, but each page still needs to have its cache cycled.

So, alternatively you can add

?action=purge

to the end of the url for any page and it will refresh the cache and show you(and everyone else who comes after) the updated links Smile
