Hi!

Something I've never given thought to: when bombing a planet with defences, are the destroyed installations distributed evenly? In other words, if the planet is fully developed, 1000+ of mines and factories and 100 defenses, and I bomb with Cherries, does one third of the damage go to factories, one third to mines and one third to defenses? Or is it weighted in any form? Posey and Stars-Calculator only give the total number of installations destroyed.

Regards

My experience suggest that it is distributed by equivalent fractions, i.e. if 10% of all installations are destroyed, then it is 10% of the factories, 10% of the mines and 10% of the defenses. That means that if you use use bombs that destroy installations and you bomb enough to remove all defenses, then you have also destroyed all factories and mines.

Hi Christian,

the one solution I didn't think of...
Embarassed

Makes sense, and a quick test confirmed it.

Thanks,
