Stupid question:
Does it make a difference how I load my kolonists?
Scenario 1
I Xfer kolonist to my colonizer and send it away to the planet I want to colonize (so in the tasks, the 2nd planet has a Colonize order)
Scenario 2
I give the order to load kolonists and send it away to the planet I want to colonize (so in the tasks, the 1st planet has upload order and 2nd planet download order)
In other words: if I use Scenario 2, will the kolonists count towards development of the planet or does it not matter?

In neither case they would produce anything in the turn they land, because colonizing and unloading happen after production. Check Stars! Order of Events in Stars - Must Know section.
