Hello,
Based on a request from a few friends of mine, I'm looking for the german I-patch for stars. I didn't find it on the download page, maybe somebody could enlighten me, where to find it?

In fact I just tried to apply the different patches to the german verion, I own, even that does not work  Meaning I could not possibly play with the friends of mine, using my german version 
So, I redefine my question:
Could someone provide me with the german patches and/or provide me with the english unpatched game files, so that at least I'm able to test the I patch?

The English language JRC3 "patch" found on Autohost is the full executable, so that might be usable if your friends can also use that "patch".
If that is not an option, then I might send you a zip file or ISO image of the English v2.7 Stars! CD (that is the original 2.7 or an early patch version).

Yes, you're right, I tried these patches and they work perfectly, both the german and the english versions, but they are J patch... Problem is that I need the I-patch, and as the only version previous to J that I have, is the german retail version 2.7b to which the individual patches up to I-patch found here on autohost are not applyable as they are for english versions only
I'd appreciate if you could send me the zip file, I'll PM you my emailadr. I think the ISO file is not needed as 90% of the CD is only that intro-movie  , well at least in the german version, I guess the english CD is similar?
Still does someone else have the different patches up to I in german, that would be great for these friends of mine not able to use the english one?

How about trying the 2.6i english version ? I think you can download a 2.6 version and the necessary updates from Autohost, and I think the serial number will work with that version too. IIRC, the only difference between a 2.6 and 2.7 version with the same patch version is, that the 2.6 version does not have sound effects.

No problem, and thanks for trying. Didn't know that the serial works with the shareware version too... In fact I got the 2.7i(english), so that's no longer an issue.
But still I'd like to have the 2.7i(German) version...
