Well, well, well, I wasn't expecting this response!

I emailed cssales@empire.co.uk recently, inquiring as to how serial codes could be obtained, now that Stars! was no longer on sale on their website.

Here is their response:

It seems that polite requests for serial codes may be entertained by pleasant Customer Service staff. Has anyone else that recently emailed them had such a positive response?

Obviously I already have a serial of my own (my request was rather one acting on behalf of the newbies here.) PM me if you do not already have a serial and desire the one I just obtained.

I'm going to respond to the email, with thanks and to see if they can indicate if they are likely to repeat this performance for other new players.

While I do have my own serial #, I know some colleagues and fellow gamers who don't and would like to play on AH games.

Good point. Somebody else ask for one, then show it to me and I'll tell if it's the same as the one I just gave out.
