Newbie challange games

Does anybody know what happened to the newbie challenge games? Or to Ashlyn? And why did they just disapear one day? Does anybody know, I didnt recieve any messages explaining it...

Newbie Challenge II has been over for a few months now. I mailed Ashlynn to tell her it could be removed, but no reaction so far.

If we were esteemed intelligent 'enough', they would have contacted us.
If we can not find them, either we are not smart enough, or they are smarter at hiding.

Newbie challange 3 just diassapeared one day, perhaps she got the wrong one.

She emailed me (at least) in November about a sequel game called "Newbie Quest" (with no Watchers or AI). However after a month of hearing nothing, I asked here what was up. She said that her mom passed away and she would be back on December 20. I have not heard from her since.

I'm afraid I'm the initial cause of trouble in Newbie Challenge III.

My mom died and we had to go on hold while I left home to take care of that. (I moved away when I was in the military)

I have since gotten my turn in, as have two of the others. However one player's position wasn't doing so well, he was being eaten, and he never submitted. So basically we're still on hold since he's still got a turn out.

I'm sure Ash could disable him. Just hasn't happened yet. Pity too since I think I was doing fairly well and we were entering the mid-late game. (a first for me)

I'm back.. Hit over head

Ron emailed me while I was on vacation and I told him to go ahead and remove the newbie games. I thought after all this time they were over. I apologize if you all were still involved... I swear I got an email that III was over.

If you all want to start another one, let me know. I promise to be more attentive.
