Hello,

I'm one of the lead developers on the Thousand Parsec project (http://www.thousandparsec.net/).

Currently we are in need of people to help test out our minigame. (Before we finish development of our next minigame.) Although this game is relatively simple it should be still quite a lot of fun (and tests a large amount of the framework).

If you are interested in helping out, please go to the our website do the following,
* join the mailing lists or forums
* hang out on IRC (irc://irc.worldforge.org/#tp)
* try following the Getting Started instructions

We are specially in the need for MacOS X and Windows testers and I no longer have access to these platforms.

Thanks for your time and hope to see you soon.

Tim Ansell

I took a look at the website - interesting. However, for a need of Windows testers I didn't see any Windows OS downloads. Or is it so that you need someone to also compile the C code for Windows?

Though we often ask how and why, we must also do to get the answers to the questions.

Instructions for installing it under windows are on the Documents page.

It first involves installing TortoiseCVS, Python, wxPython & Numeric support libraries for Python.

Then using the CVS to download and install the game client.

There are lots of pretty screenshots along the way and it seems to be fairly straightforward, if somewhat long.

As far as actual testing goes...I have no idea.
