No Frills

Hi all!

The second game in the Plain Vanilla series ended today. There will be a write up on both games 'real soon now'.

I'm going to host another game using the same setup. No Frills To wit:

Medium
Packed
Distant

AccBBS
Galaxy Clumping

CA as PRT is banned.

PPS will be turned on in 2500.

Apart from that:
Standard cheats disclaimer.
No pre-game alliances.
One winner only.
Winner by vote (active players only).
The game will be rated at SAH.

All skill levels welcome.

(Edited to add the following:)

No limit to the number of players. If 16 people want to play, it will be a crowded start...

(End of addition)

Turns will be generated 6 days a week. No gen on Fridays. The schedule can be extended by common agreement of the players as the game progresses.

Does the pace slow down at some point? Say to 3 turns per week once the game gets complicated?

Yup. Normally, we slow down to three turns a week at some point in time.

The Plain Vanillas did too. The concept of 'non-specialised' game still seems to be seems to appealing.

But: I think it might soon be time for one of my infamous "Bells and Whistles" games. I'm working on an idea now. So: Stay tuned, don't touch that dial!
