| How to fight chaff? |

Im getting my Armageddon Battleships squashed by lesser missile batteships, only because my opponent has huge stacks of xray scouts.
I have weap tech 26, Battleships with Nubians coming soon (but not really soon enough for immediate needs), prop for the first warp10 engine(improved fuel eff). Oppo has about the same but lesser weap tech. Im CA he is JOAT
Ive tried to include a smallish stack of range 3 battleship beamers, with speed 2 1/4 but they got shot down before they could take out the chaff.
If i build chaff myself will they blowup in minefields at say warp 9?

First of all, you also need chaff. If you just send in beamers, the enemy missiles will pick them off first since they typically have higher attractiveness due to the boranium cost. You need something for his missiels to pick at first.
Then, you need your beamers to kill chaff.
And, maybe missile BB's since they can then shoot at decent targets, but, definitely more beamers. If you keep his missiles shooting at chaff, your beamers will slice open his missile ships like a hot knife going through butter.
Missiles are most usefull against orbital installations since the 'kill starbase' order ignores chaff.
