Right. As mentioned many times before: setting your crash/collision/whatever ships *beyond* the target first indeed prevents the Battle Board Overload bug but second also *helps* your sweeping operation since giving your ships orders to go the full distance means there are more mines they can hit so less chance the main fleet will hit the field,

And, of course, remember to go at least 65ly or else Stars! will treat your colliders as if they were going less than warp9.

(I should have made a note of it - thank you).

And yes, everyone needs to be careful. I wouldn't want to see anybody get bitten by having too many fleets on the battle board.
