 A quick question.
Maybe somebody test-bedded it once... in which case, I can avoid doing it myself... Wink

Does anybody know if the "leftover" fuel is used for anything once the colonisation module has been dismantled?

Is it just ignored, or does it get converted to resources/minerals?

Just wondering. Seems like a waste.... Rolling Eyes

 Where is this "bit bucket"?

Can I use it as a weapon?
I'm figuring that a bucket full of "bits", and 150mg of fuel could be quite lethal against invading troops...

 Just figure that your colonists are a little warmer their first year on the planet. They have fuel to run heaters Very Happy

As I understand it, in the earliest versions of Stars fuel was not simply provided by starbases, but was rather mined, like Ironium, Boranium, and Germanium (making NRSE a much larger penalty). In those days, we could assume that fuel left in the colony ship would have gone to the colonized planet's "surface fuel". Nowadays, the leftover fuel is indeed wasted.
