Does the WM have an intiative bonus? My manual refers to such a bonus, but the ship builder doesn't display anything (I haven't testbedded yet).

Yes, it does. The bonus doesn't show up in the ship building screen, but you'll see in in battles.

It's not a typo, it just never got updated... WM's originally did get an init bonus, as battle speed determined init. There were no computers in the original game, IIRC.

No need to update it, the bonus is still there.

No. WM get a battle speed bonus, not a init bonus. Those are 2 distinctly different attributes. Test again.

Again, the battle movement bonus is the one that is still present, not the associative bonus to the no longer existant battle initative that was attached to battle movement...
