VICTORY CONDITIONS
==================
At any point after year 2500, the remaining players may mutually agree as to the winner. Unless they're just being plain silly, in which case the referee (me - who is not playing in this sketch) will heckle them, and FORCE them to continue playing. Possibly forever.

SPECIAL RULES
=============
Ahh. Now here's the rub.
You see, the name of the game is kinda relevant. For a limited period of time only, a truce will operate. Peace has indeed broken out.
BAD THINGS will happen to any race breaking this truce. But the effects will only be temporary, and the appendages will grow back over time.
This period of peace is finite, however.

The specifics will be available to anyone who expresses an interest in this madness. But only *after* I get sent the race file.

GEN RATE

Oh... I dunno... 36 hours? With a mutually consentual review after every 20 years.

Mind if i ask what are the cheat Chaff and Split-Fleet. I mean What they do? I never played a game over net so...Can any of you would be kind enough to explain to a poor Newbie.

Also why would someone want to cheat a game... you loose all the chalange.

Chaff:
The useage of large numbers of small lightly armed vessels to absorb missile hits for your more expensive prettier ships.

Split-Fleet Dodge:
A "technique" whereby a fleet being chased can separate/merge and separate, so as to confuse the pursuer... ultimately (hopefully) ending up with the nasty chasing fleet feasting on a surprisingly small meal.

As for the cheating question... if everybody is aware of bugs/cheats, and they are permitted to be used, then personally, I don't see a problem.

Certainly the two bug exploitations mentioned above are pretty much accepted practice nowadays.

You could happily allow N-S/E-W minefield exploits and cheap starbases, and possibly some others.

These would just change the game balance slightly (minefields less effective, bases more effective).
