New Game: Empires Part 1

Hi guys,

I want to get a game going for beginner to intermediate players. I have been gone from playing or hosting Stars! games but I have been wanting to get back into the thick of it!! I would like this to be kinda an epic type game, one with some deep game play and role playing.. or maybe not! Depending on how much interest I can generate, I would like to get up to 8 (or more) players going.

Here are the rules which are similar to the Plain Vanilla game in progress:

Medium to Huge Universe (depending on how many players I get)
Packed
Distant
Accelerated BBS
CA race is not permitted, but JOAT is ok

As Alter Ego stated in his game announcements:
Standard cheats disclaimer.
No pre-game alliances.

I am proposing a 6 day turn cycle with Sunday off (unless we want to change this).

I would ask for patience as this is my first time back hosting a Stars! game in four years.

Yea, you can send me the race file as soon as we get an idea of the size of the universe/amount of players. Right now we have about 4-5 players (including myself.)

We have 9 players so far that have expressed interest in joining the game. I would like to get the game going soon... so we may be closing new submissions soon.

What size did you end up at? I'll sent you may race file in a few minutes, but I may want to modify it based on size.
