Here is a small word puzzle.

There are 24 words (some are 2-word 'phrases' that count as 1 word) hidden in this puzzle, all related to Stars! in some way.

PM me the words within 24 hours of this post to qualify. Thread locked until then.

Since this is only a small puzzle, winning entries do not qualify for the "Puzzle Master of the Week" award, but I may find another award to hand out. We'll see.

Update: All of the 24 words above are at least 4 letters long.

(so 'ron' was not an intentional word to be found)

Woah, I found Stinkysocks, but I didn't think it had anything to do with Stars!... Shocked

So if 'Ron', isn't on the list, then perhaps 'stinkysocks' is his self-reference instead Very Happy

Jinkies...

That's not the best way to get reinstated! Everyone knows Stinky Socks is a beautiful paradise among the Stars, where steaks grow on trees, ready for grilling (with just the right amount of fat), all the streams are 12.0% alcohol by volume, and beaches are made of potato chips instead of sand. And the wimmin, I mean, talk about...uh...

Stupid weather. It's supposed to be almost summer here and it's cold, rainy, jacket time.

Oops, you could be on to something there... I'm guessing I'll not be scoring any forum points for that last post Laughing

Heh, as for the weather, down here it's the depths of Winter... We got down to 20^C a few days ago Sad Fortunately I'll be escaping to my homeland, England, for a few weeks soon, where in high summer I expect the temperature will probably rise as high as.... umm.... 20^C... hmmm... Rolling Eyes .... I guess maybe I just have a really narrow hab range.

Nobody ever gets points for posts in the Circular forum.

That's interesting.

So then presumably the 'forum points'(=rank) is a seperate count to the 'posts' count that we can see on the side bar?
Is there any way that you can view your current 'forum points' total?

Correct. Ron reads all posts and when a post has a value to the Stars! community Ron adds one point.
Since the Circular File isn't about Stars! you can't get points here. Same for the private game forums, most of the time only the people in the game read them so they don't offer much to the rest of the community.

We still know our rank, which equates to a fairly small band in a lot of cases.

In case anyone is looking for rank/points, those can be found in the forum FAQ (that's a link in the top right of your screen in case you haven't noticed yet), you can find it under "General Board Usage", it isn't listed in that tabel (Ron, maybe you forgot to put it there?) but click on the "What are referrals?" and it's the next topic below.

Or use this link.

Actually, it is there, in the English FAQ, in the General table right under 'What are referrals?' It's called "What are these military ranks I see assigned to users?"

Hm, so there are different FAQ's? The one I'm looking at is in English and looks like this image. As you can see the ranking topic is not listed there. (But you can see it by clicking referrals, as I mentioned in my post, and to which I provided the link.)

To be clear about what I was trying to say: the link to the ranks is not there but the info is ...

AH! You're not using the 'Stars!' forum theme. That's why you can't see the rank addition I made.
