And I missed turns in several games, for some reason, while it was down. Sad

I was concerned when I went to submit my turn and saw the Autohost down for maintenance message. I decided to try and upload it anyway and it seems to have worked.

^Yeah, obviously I should have done the same. I just assumed turns couldn't be uploaded. Ah well.

I can't speak for Ron, but I know he's got a lot of things on his mind, and can't always remember to "put all games on hold".

I guess it should be up to the individual hosts to stick their games on hold when autohost is down (for any length of time) for maintenance or other troubles, to prevent this happening in the future.

I was guilty of not putting one of my games on hold, in which Slave of Seven missed a turn. Apologies to SOS.

Usually, when Autohost is paused like that, you can do everything you normally could, except, the screen won't show the update. So, yep, try it... Rolling Eyes Nod

Edit: stuff

No worries, Ashlyn. I should have been more on the ball. Smile No great harm done anyway.

Sorry folks! I thought I'd have to down the server and so stopped AutoHost from running, but then didn't have to down it after all and forgot to unpause it. Embarassed

Surprisingly, noone emailed me about it.

I was going to email you, but I assumed you'd probably been inundated by emails anyway. Never assume anything. Laughing
