Being bored (waiting for my next game to start), I was randomly looking at messages from old games.

I noticed:

For some reason I can't post to the game forum. I've just downloaded my latest turn file to find that none of my 2409 orders have actioned and I'm still in that year even though the game page shows year 2410.

Is there something I'm doing wrong?

When this problem happenned to me (several times in last game) I switched to using ftp rather than http to download the turn which fixed it.

Basically you are downloading the previous file.
So of course the year is the same and no actions have been processed.

I find I have to use the ftp option nearly all the time.
Altering my browser settings seems to make no difference.

No doubt somebody out there can tell us what is storing/remembering the old file.

Some proxy problem probably.
Check what you got in:
internet options / connections / LAN settings

My personal preference is to have Auto-host email the turn to me. This means I have the turn after it is processed, even if Auto-host goes down for some reason.
I'd rather wait for an opportunity to Upload my turn rather than wait to download it and process the turn.
Your host can set this option for you.
