Hi

Anyone know what the exact, or safe, cutoff is for dropping pop on an enemy planet? I now know that 6.3 million is too many... Wink

Thanks

- Did some quick testing, and didn't have an issue pop dropping with up to 7.5 million peeps...That isn't a cutoff, I just stopped there. Weird. So, this is either a one long time *event* (luck of the draw type thing), or it's tied to some other factor.

- Less learned, don't drop more pop than you need too... Huh.

It may be related to the defenses of the target world.

As, I believe, they multiply the number of defenders, instead of dividing the number of attackers.

I've meet that bug before. 've lost about 5M pop of 8.4M dropped to his 100. So I started splitting from my orgy a fleet with about 10% more pop I needed to safely invade, with the rest of the fleet just waiting in orbit to drop the pop after the planet was taken.
Anyway, if you opponent isn't IS, then multiply his pop with 4 to get the planet through any defense.
