The long term plan? Eight "new" players will get a chance to face eight of the "Defending Grand Champions". But that game doesn't start for about 200 days. Here's what it will take to get there.

I just made the formal request to Ron for a slot. This will be the 8th game that I've started here on Autohost recently. It will be the first of 2 new "open" games, with the second starting in about 100 days. The "top 4" players from each open game will be invited to play in the "Championship-III" match, starting in about 200 days. You'll find all the details on my "New Game Info" web page:

I've also added a status box for this game near the top of my "Home Base" page. I'll try to keep this updated daily until the game starts, but it may be up to 24 hours old. Don't depend on the displayed number of available seats. Just e-mail me that race file already!

This is an early heads-up for the fine folks here at Autohost. I announced the game to my regulars a few hours ago, and 4 seats are already gone. If you are going to play, I'ld suggest that you send me a race file as soon as possible. You'll have a few days to send updates, but I need a place holder file to assign player numbers. I'll be announcing this game on "The List" soon, so I expect it to fill quickly after that.
