Hey all,

I was just cruising through old archives over at SBD and I came across the user choice awards. Those who used to frequent there will know what I am talking about, but for those of you who didn't you can go to these links:

The announcing of the awards:
http://www.starbasedelta.com/ubb/Forum6/SHTML/000068.shtml

Final balloting:
http://www.starbasedelta.com/ubb/Forum6/SHTML/000070.shtml

The winners announced:
http://www.starbasedelta.com/ubb/Forum6/SHTML/000074.shtml

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone thinks it would be an interesting idea to hold a AutoHost forum user-choice awards. Perhaps if we get enough people saying something Ron will bend to peer pressure and hold them. Although, if that fails we could raid his house and steal his copy of Stars! to blackmail him with Twisted Evil I'm sure that would get action quick Angel

I'm up for that...

if there's a "Lowest self proclaimed knowledge of mathmatics" award we all know who'll win.

Laughing I don't think that we would need to vote on that one. It is the prime example of obvious if there ever was one.

Maybe I could win the "stating the obvious" award?

Hmm, interesting idea... but not possible using the forum software itself. I'd have to make a custom php script for it. Ideally, it would be tied in with the forum software, so only registered users could vote etc.

If you could manage to get a hold of Delta Commander he might be able to provide some insight into problems he had and such. However, I have not heard from DC in a very long time so you may not be able to get a hold of him.
