Was looking on various sites for any sign of supernova/genesis and nothing seems to have been mentioned in the last 18 months.

There is a Beta, Several people have it, including Ron.
It is not public, and they all swore not to give it up, and AFAIK, they've kept that agreement, so don't bug them about it.

It's a 'private beta' which basically translates to 'alpha stage' code.

'Public beta' stage code is much more mature than 'private beta' code.

It's not really playable in its current state: pirates not yet implemented, PRT's not balanced well at all yet, and lots of other things not coded yet.

Only playable if you know exactly what not to do, and agree that no one take certain PRT settings which would give that person a big advantage.
