Just to add something to the discussion about wickets and balls.

THE RULES OF CRICKET

You have two sides,
one out in the field
and one in.

Each man thats in goes out
and when he's out he comes in.
The next man goes in until he's out.

When they are all out
the side that's out comes in
and the side that's been in
goes out and tries to get
those coming in out.

Sometimes you get men
who are still in and not out.

When both sides have been in
and out including the not outs.

The game is over.

Does that make sense. Going insane

The only reason I could make any sense of that was becuase I know a litle bit about how the game is played. If I didn't know anything however my answer would have been something like this Going insane

I come from the place where cricket is the world for my country men.

Its a cool game, a lot similar to baseball and the fielders don't wear gloves. They have to catch with bare hands.

Cricket is not pointless and mind you, it is very comprehensible if you try........

Cricket is very much like stars,

you got to take a good look at the universe by scanning it :the ground and field placment

choose which planets you will colonize: choose where you are going to place the ball to make sure it gets to the boundary when you are batting, choose you fielders placment to stop the ball when you are fielding,

attacking you enemies and blow the crap out of them: when batting, belting each ball to the boundary or over the boundary and when fielding, taking wickets to get the batsman out

mm: try and identify what the batsmen's tactics are when you are fielding and when batting, figure out what the bowler will try next. Do proper field management when fielding.

The more resources, more planets, better tech, you win the game in Stars!, more runs, more batsmen remaining, better talent, you win the game in cricket.

...........true..........??????????

And trying Brockian Ultra-Cricket might be a good idea as well....... Twisted Evil
