What does this mean?

Quote:

HAULER was unable to transfer -27Kt of Ironium out of the -27Kt request.

It befuzzles me since the fleet is only one privateer in the middle of space and has >27Kt of Ironium. Is this a known bug since it can't be cargo maximum I'm confuzzled.

ZZZs apparently trying to transfer negative Ironium cargo, which makes it all the more outrageous.
The only explanation I can see is that there's a cloaked pickpocket ship trying to steal your iron, but in that case you shouldn't have gotten a message afaik.

Jeffimix, what version of Stars! are you running? A long time ago I reported a cargo transfer bug which produced a similar message, but it got fixed in the subsequent patch for Stars!.

I'm running 2.6Jrc4 I don't think that that's a bad version.

Jrc4 is a host side patch only. I didn't think it was even available anywhere. How did you get a copy?

Side note: If you have a lot of objects on the board, then Stars! gets a little funky since there are a finite number of objects (packets, scrap, minefeilds, etc.) allowed. If you were trying to transfer cargo that would have created a salgave pile and your game is over the limit on the number of objects, then you get messages like this. Incidentally that's what causes the minefeild not created bug...

jrc4 is also available on Stars! AutoHost
ftp://library.southern.edu/stars26jrc4.zip

I never made a URL for it on the download page since it was never officially released.
