newbie 1v1 game request

first i have some questions

1. i have version 27jrc3, do i need to update my game to play any multilayer games?

1.a if so, what updates do i need and in what order?

2. how long does waiting for an auto host game to be made take?

2.a what will i need and what should i do?

2.b is playing by email allowed?

I'm willing to play however it would be best if whoever wants to 1v1, host the game either by email (if allowed) or using auto host.

i am going to be busy till at least Saturday. so, i will need some time to figure things out Smile

plus im going to wait for a new key if i can befor trying multi player

Drill on the sun?! I'd rather freeze on Pluto than fry on the sun! What? How much minerals did you say? Well, Since you put it that way...

1 No; it's not the version AutoHost itself uses, but it's fully compatible.
2 I don't know how long it takes for Ron to set up an autohosted game, but if you mean how long you'll have to wait for a game to have openings, there's one in the New Game Announcements forum right now.
2a There's a hosting FAQ in the Hosting forum.
2b Yes. Most duels (our slang for 1v1 games) are indeed done in this fashion.

i am finding it hard to to find someone to play with. and i still find hosting the game to be a bit confusing.

i cant seem to find the the new game magic9mushroom mentioned

i don't plan on beginning new games often because of the difficulty finding someone to play with. but if i do find someone, I'll be sure to finish

if anyone does want to play, please no Acc-BBS

Hi.

I could give you a run. So send me a PM with the gamesettings.

Have you special reasons to play without Acc BBS makes normaly the start faster.

Also I dont know your skillevel so you should write me something about your stars skills.

I am not the unskilled duell player so I would give me some Handicaps exept you want me to pay at full skill.

Universum Setting :

Small dense/packed
Distant player position
Acc bbs ( but can play without if you like )
open Player score ( normaly play without it but could help to see skillevels and dont waste to much time.
