I'm wondering if the following websites will ever be updated:
Stars! Village
stars! Directory
and The Drawing Board
Village had a game update in 8/06/02 Not really an update or post, and a long time ago. Directory hasn't been updated for a very long time now(some of the up pages are down et c.)
The drawing board has sat for a long time too. And there's another one... Starbase Delta? The forums are still up but it died with the dream of S!SG, the website itself has no chnage being made. Oh well, just wondering if any of these sites are slated for update (like directory not advertising its 'new' look would be nice). Its the feel that the community is still moving that I'm looking for.

back on subject - What the **** happened to Stars-R-Us. That was without doubt THE best stars website for info, apps, spreadsheet ands just about all your needs (bar hosting, thank u autohost)
If the people behind stars-r-us are still around then please put it back - if not then I have a domain and loads of webspace doing very little, i would happily help.

Well I guess no posts for me  Anybody have any news regarding changes to Stars! websites/new sites in general? Oh well, I think Stars! is doomed to die a painfully slow death.(though there are now 78 people registered on this forum.)

Well archive is easy, I can save websites straight to my hard-drive, I've actually scouted around quite a lot. There are a lot of small sites around, the ones that worry me are the big un-upgraded ones. I know, for example, that stars! Village has many files that aren't really there in its utilities section and I can't find them anywhere else. More important is a place to access them, oh well. the google forums rec.games.computer.stars (Or similar) is active and has posts from 1996+ all archived by Google (god forbid they stop archiving)

) I have noticed that a lot of information is disappearing from the web at an increasing rate. Is it possible to archive what is still available and present it here on this site? (Ron?) If time and manpower is the problem, I am willing to volunteer up to 5 hours a week to such a project.
