Hi hystirix. I resent a lot of things.
|
lol, I hate when I mess up spelling thanks for pointing it out. XD

Your spelling is correct. They are heteronyms like desert and desert (but not dessert). Our languages are are so complicated for native speakers, it is a wonder that we can communicate at all. It is no wonder that aliens want to kill us.
Tangentially, the use of lol pre dates the internet by as much as five centuries. It has many contextually dependent meanings, including: laugh, joke, pleasure, humour, fun, amusement, and some things that are not very family friendly. The idea that lol stands for "laugh out loud", is in fact a lol, grap of stunt. Nederlandse gevoel voor humor is gewoon de lol.
edit:
Sorry about my grammar. I am happy to be corrected. If the veracity of my claim is in doubt, see synoniemen and woordafleiding.

I`m not sure about that.....you should use resend instead of resent.
English is not my native language also, but resending something is different that resent(dislike?)
But if your post are understandable to others....i think that spelling and correct language isnt problem - it is still communication after all. Dont worry about mistakes and keep posting.
