Rating of threads

Hi,

Could someone please explain this feature on SAH?

Main clarification being on roll-out.
I can rate topics already rated, but can't rate unrated topics.

How does it work here?

Nmid.

I know my minefields.. but I'm a chaff sweeper.
I used to curse when I got stuck in traffic... till I realised I AM traffic.

How can others rate the threads, while I cant initiate ratings?
Unless an admin/forum mod has to enable the rating option for a thread?

2 rating of 1 votes... bah.

Edit - Rated 5, and it's gone back to 2 stars Wink

Give it an average rating, if you are going to test it... don't hate the thread :s

Ps - Can't I see who rated the thread?

I forget the answer to this query.. I vaguely remember reading something in a pvt. msg, but not sure.

How is rating activated on threads?

The rating dropdown is at the very bottom of the thread view, on the left. Use the dropdown to select the rating desired (1-5), then click the 'Rate' button.

Ah, I got that bit.
However does a thread require a minimum number of votes to get activated?
I rated the min dmg thread, but it didn't reflect the change nor did it show a rating.

I know my minefields.. but I'm a chaff sweeper.
I used to curse when I got stuck in traffic... till I realised I AM traffic.

Hi ,

if you go on the "stars" of the vote in the Topic you see who votes. If it is not only a moderator feature.

Hi ,

1 Vote is enouth to get a voting to a topic. If you have voted to a topice something should be gone
wronge.
