 Time to start a new game.

Medium, packed, distant.
BBS checked

At least 6 players.

No pregame alliances. Any skill level welcome.

No CAs, or JOATs with NAS.

Turn frequency: 26 hours to start.. then Tu Th Sat after 2440 or player consensus.

Standard Rules: The normal cheat disclaimer applies.

Victory settings: High score at 2550 or player consensus. No more than 2 in an alliance.

Host is playing... password your racefiles please.

send your passworded racefiles to Torben at torben at nehmer.net.
In this email send the name you want to have posted on Autohost...your race name... and your password.

Race deadline is Wednesday Jan 18th.

 My time zone is Alpha (GMT+1).

I'm a transportation contractor in the early 30's, but my work and family leaves some time for computer gaming.

I'm not saying what race I'll play (computer forums have long memory sometimes)... you'll see in the game Smile

 I would like to try this.

A third party would be best for racefile checking, and to arbitrate any dispute were there might be a conflict of interest.

I assume the standard disclaimer allows for chaff, split fleet dodge, repair after gating, and minimum damage. How about colony module check? Do you distinguish between mine damage allocation and mine damage avoidance (the former deeals all damage but not evenly, where the latter does less than minimum damage)?

I am a student of anthropology. PST (GMT -8) until March.

we should have enough players, but i'll entertain another one if they join soon...

Looking for a game, but some 540 planets for 6-8 players is too much for me. I suggest you all to rethink this, else at 2460 your turn will take 2 hours on average.

The "standard disclaimer" usually allows for chaff (generally not considered a cheat) and split fleet dodge (because of difficulty to police).

"repair after gating" is a relatively recent addition, considered harder to police than it's worth.

"minimum damage" is a major cheat and isn't usually allowed. Where did you get the idea that it was "standard"?
