6) Clustering. Something that has not been discussed yet, I think it will help ARs a little bit?

As in Diadochi wars?

I think that Forceuser just means normal clustering.

For those who don't know I created the universe (actually someone else did on my behalf) in Diadochi Wars. The clustering here represented cities in the post Alexander the Great period & each "city" contained a large number of stars with big spaces between them.

That was a bit extreme clustering. Wouldn't mind playing one of those again though.

On the extinct StarBaseDelta forum, Apelord was an avid AR player.
I tried to find the post in the Wayback archives, but it seems to be not working today.

I did have a backup though on my computer. I had saved this in an image. So earlier today I posted it on my Stars! blog
(link in my signature below).

It is listed under "Images" on the right side of my blog.
It is the first image: AR - Apelord... if you want view/read his post about AR races.

enjoy

Apelord is(was?) a genius. This has given me many good ideas for an AR. That pic should be linked up in the AR thread. Thanks for finding it Smile

Another thing after looking through your site is that some of the guides or articles are not credited to the person that wrote it Smile (not that I could see so might just be me being blind)

The first thing I saw was the AR guide and didn't see it being credited to Nick Fryser. I'll look through and see if I find anything else. That guide is also where I got my sig from Smile

A lot of my old computer archives are clips, some not complete.
In some cases I may have forgotten, or didn't note the original author when I copied the info years ago, as it was just for my personal reading of the content, not for re-posting at the time.

If you find any omissions, I can make corrections on my blog.

No worries Smile I'm not really that much of a stickler for credits Wink I guess I'd like to think if I make/say/contribute something I'd be remembered Smile

The archive seems to work again, and I could find and read many old posts there, but not that one. Confused

It may not be there. I was just trying to see if it was, and possibly post a link, when the site wasn't responding to my searches the other day.

I guess, maybe, I'm the only one that had a backup of the page on my computer.

I don't know. If I get into the Allies and Empires game, maybe I should wait until the game is over before I post the rest of the pages and articles about AR that Apelord posted in 2002?

LOL Just kidding. That's all I have from him.

I have some other AR stuff, but I guess I need to check the Wiki page here to see if the info is already posted there. Lots of my archives are already posted on the Wiki page here. Not by me, but from other sources.
