 Password still doesn't work for me. And why change the passwords? Note: I tried both the supplied password and the file password I set on the files and neither works.

This has been fixed.

I set all passwords because about 50% of the races came in with no password set and some of the passwords were specious. (two teams had almost the same password.) Its ok, you guys can set your passwords to what you want once the game begins, but I couldn't allow blank passwords for the turns because someone else might be able to look at your move.

Urm, opened my file without problem, until I tried to put my turn in. My ships have a split personality problem. They are in orbit of my HW as well as in deep space at. So for example my ship #1 is located at 205.20ly from itself Sad

Does this imply a regen?

Hi ,

no this is normal for all planets moved around. Is seems you start your fly from somewhere in space but you will fly from your current Location.
Only se the warp you want to fly by hand and everything is fine next turn.
It will be for every ship you start with untill it is moved one time.
Every new builded ships will be fine .

Hope this helps all who have not played in a regened univers.

The game is on Autohost. You can download the files you need if they weren't emailed to you. If we can all submit our first turn this weekend, I will take the game off hold and we can start the normal schedule on Monday.

Three checks...
#1 (the one that you can do)... the gen time of the game is Sept. 10.
#2 (the one that I did)... a diff comparison of both xy files (the one on autohost and the one from my gen) reveals the files are identical.
#3 also, you could download your turn file and you will note that you can use the password... you know with the previous gen the password would not work,

Therefore, it is safe to say he is using the new files...
