As some people may have noticed in an earlier post I stated I will update the Stars! help file. Well, I have bgun. Currently I have successfully decompiled the existing help file and begun to update the information it contains. Pages in the helpfile with dead website locations have a new note added to them to inform people to check here at Autohost for information.
For any of you accessing the existing help file and getting a 'Runtime file not found' error, it is because you don't have the old hyprfind dll. You can still peruse the helpfile without it. When I post the updated help file I will include the hyprfind and hyprview dll's.
If you have anything on your wish list for additions to the help file, just post them here. I won't guarantee I will add them all and, most of what I add will be in the 'guts' section. I will be adding a section on the MT toys also.

Windows 3.1 help files don't have an index. Most of the help file (all the text) is written in an RTF text file. When I de-compiled the help file I now have the complete RTF file. Once I complete the edit I will re-compile the help file back into the .hlp format with all the graphics (and any I add).

Looks like I need to find the stuff I did with this so I can post the updated version. Real life kind of overtook what I was doing wit Stars! (Divorce, re-marriage, new business - the usual types of thing)..
I need to take a look and find out what's happened with Freestars also.

Great!
I assume you are using the newest help:
http://starsautohost.org/files/e27ihelp.exe is an English updated 2.7i quick search help file.
Although it is 2.7 is works fine together with the autohost 2.6 jrc4 version.
