I just noticed Frappr is no more, and with it the map of stars players that was embedded in the wiki. After poking around on Google they apparently spammed their users with a warning sometime last year with a 1/1/10 deadline and offering the chance to archive the map data. My last email from them was regarding a comment I left in 2008. Well poo. Sad Shall look into creating a more custom Google map for it...the maps extension being already installed and all...

In a mostly unrelated note...a google site search of SAH completely omits HWF...WTF? Confused

A simple measure to avoid email addresses being too easily harvested, I guess. Pirate

Unless Ron did it to avoid swamping good ole' Google with our traffic. Cool

I figured as much, the google bot is remarkably polite as webcrawlers go.

A map of players to add yourself to Smile

You'll need to fetch your lat/long from Google maps or something first.

It's surprisingly difficult to get a lat/long from Google Maps.

If you're in Great Britain, This site will give you the lat/long for a postcode. There are probably similar tools for other countries.

I had quite a bit of trouble last time I wanted a coordinate, but this makes it fairly easy:

I just enabled the LatLng Tooltip and LatLng Marker in the Google Maps Labs but then I'm a googleslut.
