Please send your races ASAP. Deadline is set to 6:00 p.m. GMT. According to it, Per is waiting only 1 hour more.

Please, provide Per with your name at HWF so that he knew who is who.

So we will not wait for those he didn't manage to send the race before the deadline? Shocked

And another one question about the "silentium" part of the game. Can we say that any message concerning the game sent from any of the players to another player would be a violation of rules?

The deadline is deadline! Laughing We are waiting for starman only Confused I am giving him another 24 hours. Tomorrow 6:00 p.m. GMT is eventual deadline! Tomorrow I am sending files to Ron with or without starman!

The only commucication allowed is concerning the game "organization" and can be send only to host and/or to everybody.

Once you feel that the winner can be declared, you ask everybody first if they want to continue the game or not. The winner is the only player who said YES. If there will be 2 answers YES, we carry on the game. Please do not say who you consider the winner.

Starman did not send his race. And Ronin is taking his place. However, we need more time to generate the game. Please be patient. This may take a day more.

Thx,

I sent my race to the wrong reply and missed the deadline. I saw this morning that this was the case. Per Rindom sent me an e-mail explaining it all this morning. He did suggest a few minor changes and I resent the race file. So if I don't make it into this game, I'll wait for another.

Thanks,
Starman383

I have been put in very uncomfortable situation. I cannot call off my decision regarding Ronin. On the other hand, I do not want to leave Starman.

My proposition is to extend the game to 9 players and strech the universe to Medium/Normal. This means 288 planets in universe which is 32 planets per player.

The disadvantage is of course the closer distances between players.

I hope no one is against.

I will be keeping you updated. Soon we are going to generate the game. Per is busy a bit.

Hello Again,

Please don't hold up the game on my account. I was late and did the wrong thing by not sending a reply to the correct e-mail.

I'll catch the next game if this put things in a bind (trouble) for you.

Thanks,

Starman

Hi all,

The game has been generated by Per and sent to Ron before a minute. I hope soon we will be playing. For more information, check this page and also your mails. Files from Ron you should get on your e-mail box directly.

Altum Silentium counts 9 players!

Here is one more noob question: is there any difference between setting battle plan to attack neutrals/enemies and to attack everybody, while all the players are enemies to me. Rolling Eyes

I'm asking this firstly because I'm playing the race of slowpokes (so if anybody thinks it's a stupid question I can always explain this as role play Very Happy ). Secondly an unknown race of Shima contacted me and explicitly asked for both setting everybody to enemy AND setting battle plan to attack everybody.

So do I really need to change my battle plan to attack everybody instead of neutrals/enemies?

According to the game announcement, you must set the others to attack everyone. Having battle plans set to neutral/enemies you are breaking rules. Dura lex sed lex! The game is started, players accepted the rules.

The host is the ruler. Please do not argue with him! The host is always right!

Sorry, I was neither arguing nor attempting to break the rules. I was just curious what is the difference (so I will know any specifics if they present).

In this case, the difference is that "everyone" is 8 letter word and "netural/enemy" are 2 words of 12 letters in total.

Dont be an ass!!!, simply answer the beginners question by helping and being constructive. You could simply tell Paul to post his questions in the Academy section for knowledgeable pro's to answer his question.

If you do not know the answer, Slimdragoon. The answer is there is no difference. And I am sure Paul knows it!

Good question Paul.
