Hi ,
it seens it take a little bit longer to start the game so I would like to move the start a little bit in the future.
I will be in the USA and have no chance to do my turn from 29.04 -05.05 and have found no replacement so far.
Maybe we could start the game by 05.05 if possible .

shall we run with the 7 races we have?
shall we beg Mick to turn a race in soon so we have 8?
shall we ask Force to turn in a race in a hurry?
I have another guy in Germany that wants to join if Force doesn't want to... or do we just let both join and go with 9??

It would be a shame to exclude ccmaster. I don't mind so much allowing our standby and even this other interested party to join; though having so many Germans should make anyone nervous.  If people are unwilling to break for ccmaster's trip it would probably be better to go with ForceUser as a replacement.
So my vote, start soon, break for the trip. I don't mind the other two joining in but wouldn't want to go over ten people.

Ah, Detroit. Ann Arbor is very nice this time of year, as is Windsor. Seriously, it has been about 30 years since I was last there for fun and when I've been for business I only had time to wander around the main university a bit (I was looking for a book and had a couple of hours to spare).
The roads seem to be designed to help the auto industry by destroying your car so that you will need to be a new one frequently. I have lost a tire every other trip to Detroit and once bent a wheel. And I've noticed that you can tell something about a place by what gets sold everywhere. For instance, in Indiana all the shops in towns along the state border seem to sell fireworks (antiques - and fireworks; office supplies - and fireworks; beer, wine and fireworks)... in Detroit everything is "and alcohol". I've even seen a "Laundromat and alcohol".
Then again, I used to live only a few miles from a beer/wine drive-thru that sold guns. I'm still not sure if that is an example of all that is best about the US or all that is worst. Probably both.

I suppose this means it is too late to change my PRT to IT/JoaT/SS/IS/WM/SD/PP/AR/HE? Obviously I couldn't change it to CA... that's not allowed!
Okay, I have forgotten something important for my race, the Binary; ship names! Like Scan or Seek for scouts, Initialize for colony ships, Pipe, Storage or Packet for transports... anyone want to chime in with ideas? Hmm, maybe System Drive for a transport with colonizer?
Edit: Names... Ashlyn, GameHost, Marduk, pydna, owteufel, goober, and yourself, ccmaster. I am not sure who the last one is. Ashlyn said five players so far when only four including herself posted in the thread, so someone hid by using a PM! The fiend!
Based on the order and content of the messages, the last one should be from Australia. Dogthinkers, maybe? I am assuming pydna is from Missouri (Mohawk as in MO, the states postal code) and that GameHost was incorrectly listed as a Texan by Ashlyn. But that post was edited after GameHost said he was from Missouri, so if pydna is from Australia and GameHost was the Missourian (Missourite?) then the last player is from Texas. BlueTurbit, maybe?

Are there 2 from OZ? I was counting goober and one other, but it wasn't Dogthinkers and I can't figure out who the other one is???
2 from Germany, 1 from OZ, and the rest from the states?
Correct me if I'm wrong.
I never received any of the races... donjon would know for sure.
Or maybe we wait for it to appear on Autohost and then we'll know!
