I've only played one game, and finished 6th of 8, so I'm crap!
Still working on a race though... might try something new.

I believe proper etiquette when you 'finish' a game is to let us all know that you concede. So that the rest of us dont sit and wonder why you just stopped submitting.
|
And I would have thought the correct etiquette when suspending/restarting a game was to email the participants and letting them know what's going on.
The game was on hold for over week, then restarted and two turns were generated before I knew what what happening. I simply missed them.
I had no choice but to exit the game given the disadvantage. I was loosing anyway, but was willing to continue and try to fight my way though until the two missed turns.
I chose not to make a fuss about it with Ashlyn, but since you seem to be aggrieved by it, well this is why. I did correspond with Ashlyn and an additional turn was generated before being set to inactive.
If you have a problem with this PM me or email me.

Drakyhulla, thank you for sending your race! We will consider you substitute player if someone would not send his race on time.
According to game announcement, Tranquility is meant for up to 11 players and you are 12 unfortunately. (I have tested my race yesterday, and I felt it is going to be very crowdy .
Kaloth, I am going to risk and leave Kaloth's race with no handicap. I am not convinced for penalyzing Kaloth with as many as 60 RW points, so I will not. I was also thinking about 30 RW points of handicap for Kaloth but this would mean that I should have assessed point penalty for every player individually, which I am not able to. I want only warn everyone that Kaloth seems to be intermediate (lower) and has no penalty.

Allright.
My advice would be to take the first 11 players to submit races, rather than the first 11 to express interest.

If a 75 turn game doesn't feel crowded, you got the settings wrong
Something tells me that the *only* thing that will tranquil about this game, will be the gen rate. Looking forwards to reading the post-game anecdotes in a few months.

Drakhyulla,
The crowdier the better, let it be 12 players, unless someone is against.
