Title says it all.
No matter what I type in - JoaT, MML or "Need for speed" - pressing the "Search this group" button returns no threads at all.
If anyone else gets this then I'll try to report it.

fwiw I couldn't search alt.games.microprose.transport-tyc either
this would seem to indicate that searching usenet groups has been a problem for some time(years) and that it is somewhat alleviated by using the advanced search. Don't forget to change to order of your search terms (WTF?) eg 27 results vs 22 results

Today I get 38 results on both links. Perhaps they fixed something  Newsgroups are pretty cutting edge tech, it's not surprising Google is having trouble getting it right, eh?

I can't search the group but add rec.computer.games.stars to your search and search all groups. That finds the articles of yore.
Update: Which I see someone already said. Oh well.

According to this, they're finally going to fix the issue so hopefully we'll have proper access again.
