yeah seriously i wouldn't want you to have to do that every turn. But then again remapping is a lot of work to? Lets hope it gets fixed next turn?

That the thing.. By using SHE, its not supposed to be a lot of work. But for some reason, these game files were crashing SHE, and using his latest version, the remapped files are showing errors we've never seen before.

I did explain this before.Your team leader asked me to change the team to have the same password.. Why he didnt give it to you i dont know.. i did send you a message with it after you asked first time. ill happily send you pm with it now.

He should have sent you the new one how silly. But yeah i guess i should have just sent a message to all 3 of you.
Stinks you guys need a replacement.
I just noticed he couldnt do his last turn in time..
How are we to find out if his files are ok for replacement...

so am i 12 hours different then auto host? turn genned at Sunday 2:00 (10pm gmt+5)so to make it Monday threw Friday i really have to make it Tuesday threw Saturday to fix that?

EDIT: i just ready kaloth post below.. im putting game on hold.. i know no one wants to do it but we need the game remapped badly. Also we need a replacement already so we mine as well wait for replacement before remapping because they may change race...

Yes.. we need a replacement, intermediate level able to start immediately. This is part of Xardre's post in the bar about why he has got to go Sad

Either way, my HW is still busted, I have to once again delete my .x and .h files to be able to see my HW pop or build queue. The game is broken somehow, we need to recreate it. Is there an alternative method that AlexTheGreat used? That worked..

Recreating the game will give us the time to find a replacement for Xardre as well, sadly.

Hi All,

Since you "need a replacement", I'd like to take in this party if you don't mind. Based on the scale from the first post I'm expirienced player (with 2 wins in team games).

It would be nice if somebody can give me a hint on whom should I contact to to have a race suggestions and/or discussion with? Wink

PS: I'm GMT +3, but due to my life/work schedule it's not a problem to be in touch with people from GMT -8 or somt like this.

PS: What about to expand the game to 15 players with 5 teams OR may be expanding game to 4 team of 4 players (for example seems like vmanuel was willing to join also)? Nod

Guys, sorry for confusion, I was just kidding suggesting that. Deuce is right - having 4 teams, which starts in the 4 corners is the best option to preserve a balance. As for the 4 teams of 4 players it could probably work, but I'm afraid that the fun will be lost due to overcommunication that may occur when 4 peoples have to daily discuss their turns.

I'm wanna play with you, but I don't wanna crash the good idea of that game. If I'll have a chance to take a part let me know, otherwize don't worry, just keep going ... Wink

XyliGUN is new replacement. They should be ready in time to have the game remapped again this weekend so we can start during the week.

Send the race to mark hewitt for check and he can send to gible or paulrc i forgot whos gonna do it.

Cant wait to get this shindig started!

I have discussion with Coyote several hours ago, I'll incorporate changes and do some quick tests today (hope to finish with that within next 6 hrs), then I'll send my race to Mark (other races will not be changed). I'll probably end up asking Paul to do it, but I'll have a go first. I've reinstalled my computer coz I had a suspicion that VS2005 might have been interfering with it, also rebuilt all the race files and tried planetswapper but still no luck - it still doesn't work. Maybe altering the one race file will be enough tho I doubt it. If all else fails (and Paul isn't willing) I can create it the hard way.
