Universe
Medium Dense with remapped HW's Thanks to Gible.
12 Players divided in to 4 teams of 3 based on skill level.
Game parameters
Yes Slow Tech Advances
Yes Accelerated BBS
Random Events off
Chaff and Split Fleet Dodge allowed, Repair after gating loophole is ok because that's bound to happen no matter what when merging all other cheats are banned.
All players not on your team must be set to Enemy
May only share tech, intel, and trade with members of own team.
Learning how to Host for the first time on Auto Host so bare with me.
Race Restrictions
Teams can pick only 1 race from each grouping. Once teams are established there will be a 10 to 14 day window to discuss with your teammates race design(hopefully sooner to get it rolling Gibles way to remap HW's). I will not be posting players emails on the forum so you will have to PM your teammates in order to get hold of them once list is established.
Group 1: JoAT, IT, CA
Group 2: IS, SD, HE
Group 3: WM, SS, PP
Group 4: AR
Restrictions: Group 1 cannot be chosen by Pro's.
Only Beginners can choose CA.
CA 100 points left over
Victory goes to Last Team Standing.
Skill level will be determined by number of games play so when you say your in also include the number of game you have played including those still running. I will try to keep the teams as balanced as possible based on this system when making the team.
Also please list your time zones.
Skill groups are;
5 or less games played -Beginner
6 - 11 games played -Experienced
12+ games played. -Pro
A list of teams will be posted by me prior to race design, any grievances regarding teams must be stated within 72 hours of list being posted in hopes of possible change.
I want to try to stay with a Monday threw Friday for turns at least till turn 20 these turns really shouldn't take to long to complete. After that if the majority wants we will go to a 4 turn a week. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday.
Generating at 10.00 pm GMT+5 this is whats good for me I can only be slightly flexible with that
If a player leaves due to real life. I think 3 weeks is a well reasonable time frame to find replacement or continue on without one after that time by majority vote.
Mark Hewitt will be the race checker. (Thank you.)
Team 1
1:Skandal: pro- GMT +1
2:Crappicus: experienced-GMT -8
3:Mac1
Team 2
1:Bretter: pro -5
2:Deuce: experienced GMT-4
3:Einherjock: beginner- GMT -8
Team 3
1:Coyote: pro- GMT -7
2:Xardre: experienced- GMT -7
3:Kaloth: beginner-GMT +10
Team 4
1:CCmaster pro +1
2:bigcanuknaz: experienced GMT-5
3:Slimdragoon: beginner +5
Team leaders please choose orders of your team and send them to gible. Dont forget to send races to Mark hewitt the race checker. Thanks.
All races are checked and sent to gible. Looks like we are almost there.

Current race file status and some requests for information below:
I have all of Team #1's races in and they check okay.
I have 2 of Team #2's races in.
I have all of Team #3's races in and they check okay.
Just to clear up some confusion, Team #1's players (listed by Slim as Skandal, Crappicus, and Mac1) are Skandal, Topper, and Mac, correct?
I would like to pass on to Gible the race files with the needed information for submitting to autohost. Please include the following lines for each further race file:
Team #?
<Player-name>,<email-address>,<Race-singular- name>
<Race-file-password>
<Race-file-name>
I need the email addresses for Team #1 and for Team #3 except for Coyote.

Gible has the zip. Will create the game tomorrow and email it to Ron.
I still haven't heard from Skandal re player order. If I haven't heard by creation time tomorrow, I'll assume it doesn't matter.

One year of growth to research is OK, but it really kinda bothers me to miss out that early production, scouting etc. I guess if everyone has the same penalty it's not such a setback, and creating a new game is a major pain in the ass.
So I guess I am in favour of forced 2401 gen no orders for everyone :/
Edit: Not sure how, but I closed my turn, submitted it and re-opened it and now I can see my HW and build on it as normal. Can you try this for the other player affected and see if it works for them? Then we can continue as normal.
Edit2: But if I build anything on my HW this turn it produces a corrupt .x file :/

I'd already contacted Paul to see if it could be fixed(and again to not fix) - missing turns at the beginning of the game to get the setup we want is soo last century lol
I've tested this for the other player and it works for them too. Further it seems it is the .h file that provides the solution so you can safely delete the "empty" .x file before you re-open your turn and won't have to risk your orders being ignored (which bug needs nailing down I suppose).

My homeworld is ok!
Was homeworld mapping done by player request or is there a particular format you followed? Team 2 hasn't been located as expected and I'm just wondering if what we got was what everyone else got.
