since most of the beginner players are in a games maybe this is an idea that will appeal to more exp players.

small uni 4 -6 players packed p moderate start accl bbs.

everyone takes ca tt. 1 player alliances only. naps are okay.

victory conditons: top player beat 2nd by 30 percent at 2050. top alliance beat 2nd 30 percent 2070.

if you are a member of an alliance
you cannot win 2050 but will still be counted against first place trying to win.

besides that whatever floats.

I think most will want distant starting positions, anything else could be next door leaving one player off by themselves.

Sounds fun. I am ready to get stomped.

you should really choose something you want to play.. why are you now trying to get experienced players? You never played anyone but comps before?
Someone who has played just 1 or 2 games online is 500% harder then comps. Im not busting your Balls.. just tryen to help
you should be playing with people who have played 5 or less online games which is still considered inexperienced.

While true, that may not apply to a CA lesson. The problem with CA is that it is broken for bad players as well as good. The bonus to econ can allow poor decisions to be of less consequence (and thus are more likely to be repeated). my 2 cents

Actually, watching 6 CA TT's going head to head in a small packed could be fun, and though I am playing in one game and non-playing host in another, I should have time to be non-playing host in this game, if there are enough interested players.

So, don't kill the thread, let's see how many interested players there are for a game without a newbie in the mix.
